We know that you are used to Android by now but who does not like a little splurging π€? With the launch of The iPhone 17 Pro, we decided to feature an iOS-based session. Breens Mbaka introduced the attendees to Kotlin Mutiplatform and why they all needed to adopt it. He then shared a use case [not the Architecture-based ones] where he took them through integrating π Mixpanel to a Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile Application. Handling Cookie-Based Auth with Access & Refresh Tokens in Android using Ktorβ
Right after offering the audience some Cookies πͺ, Samuel Juma introduced his session about, well, Cookies. Boosting User Retention in Android apps using FCMβ
It is safe to say that we deserve an Oscar π as we had the best Crossover of all time. Well, in Tech. Have you bought your DroidCon Kenya 2025 Ticket ποΈ yet? We know that some of you have not since we had The Original GDE remind us of how cheap a single Ticket is. If you find our Meetups valuable, then you should open your Wallets [and Purses π] for DroidCon Kenya 2025. Did we also mention that you can contribute to The DroidCon Kenya 2025 Mobile App?

Askwaveβ

Despite us being the funnest and funniest Tech Community, we chose not to play around this time when we had one of our members build a similar Mobile App, but for video πΉ. You heard us right. Here is what Yves Kalume had to say regarding his new Product:
"Askwave lets you connect with your audience in a fresh, human way. Pic.a topic, create a link, receive anonymous questions, and answer with quick, authentic videos."
